MOORESVILLE, N.C. - eTradeWire -- The Lake Norman Philharmonic is excited to return to the Charles Mack Citizen Center for its Annual Holiday Concert!

This year's concert will feature the  Langtree Charter Academy Choir, and talented soloists performing holiday favorites like "I'll Be Home for Christmas" and "The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire)." The orchestra will delight with classics such as "March of the Nutcracker," plus a new seasonal favorite, "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas," along with other popular holiday tunes to lift your spirits.   If you love "Silent Night" ("Stille Nacht"), you won't want to miss the performance of this beloved classic.

Santa is coming to town! That's right, Santa Claus will be making a special appearance, and during intermission, he'll have a special treat for the kids. But wait, there's more! The Grinch is also in town, bringing plenty of mischievous charm. Will the Grinch steal the show or get swept up in the holiday spirit? You'll have to join us to find out!

Conductor Eduardo Cedeño said, "Come enjoy the holidays with us!  Our students and local musicians have put in a ton of effort to share their favorite festive songs. It's a great way to kick off the season with your family and friends!"

Seating is in the large banquet hall; doors open at 6:30 P.M.  Free parking is available behind the Charles Mack Citizen Center. The facility is fully handicap accessible and features elevators; special accommodations are available upon request. Seating is first come, first served. The Lake Norman Philharmonic, ("LKN PHIL"), is a registered, nonprofit community orchestra founded and conducted by Maestro Eduardo Cedeño, comprised of community musicians, and is open to all local instrumentalists desiring to share their talent and perform orchestral music in the Lake Norman, North Carolina region. The LKN PHIL is committed to outreach and collaboration with artists from the local community, schools, and universities with programs that foster music education.  The Orchestra performs from four to six concerts a year from April through early December.  No audition is required; rehearsals are held every Monday evening, 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at Langtree Charter Academy Upper School in Mooresville, NC.  Website: lknphil.org

Maestro Eduardo Cedeño holds a master's degree in music theory from Butler University and has extensive experience across the United States, Europe, and South America. He is a founding member of the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra and has worked with renowned organizations such as the Philharmonic Orchestra of Indianapolis, Charlotte Civic Orchestra, and orchestras in Venezuela. Currently, he is the Founder and Principal Conductor of the Lake Norman Philharmonic, teaches at Mitchell Community College, and conducts at Langtree Charter Academy Upper School.
