Vero Beach Estate Sales Launches AI App to Price Unique Items
eTradeWire News/10852004
New app searches the internet for what rare and unusual items sell for, so sellers don't let them go too cheap
VERO BEACH, Fla. - eTradeWire -- Vero Beach Estate Sales has launched an AI app that searches the internet and gives an accurate price for unique items. The goal is simple: sellers get the most money for what they own.
Most of a house is easy to price. The hard part is the one piece nobody in the family can identify. A price set too low costs the seller money. A price set too high leaves the item on the table when the sale ends.
The new app looks across the internet for what an item is worth, then gives the company's team a price to work from. That matters most for jewelry, art, collectibles and quality furniture.
"Families trust us with a lifetime of belongings, and some of those things are one of a kind," said Jon Sterling, owner of Vero Beach Estate Sales. "We don't want a seller to lose money because a rare item got a guess for a price. We only get paid when items sell, so a good price helps us both."
The company works on commission for estate sales, usually 30 to 45 percent of gross sales. Sellers pay no fee up front.

One price for all of it
The company's One-Price Buyout has also become a popular choice with estate sale clients. It gives a family one written number for everything in the home, with no sale to run.
The company walks the home and adds up what it can resell. It then takes out its cost to clear the house. If the contents are worth more than that cost, the family gets paid when the crew takes the contents. If they're worth less, the family pays one flat cleanout fee.
The buyout covers every room, plus the garage, attic, shed and lanai. It often suits out-of-state families, homes with a tight closing date and communities where HOA rules limit public sales. A full estate sale usually brings in more money, and the company tells families at the walkthrough which option it would pick.
Walkthroughs are free. To book one, call (772) 999-4457 or visit verobeachestatesales.com.
