Hope Survives Announces Hidden Impact, Its Second Brain Injury Podcast
eTradeWire News/10852002
Hosted by active-duty Navy corpsman Jeremiah Griffin, the new show brings a military medical perspective to conversations about brain injury, identity and the struggles others may not see.
ERIE, Pa. - eTradeWire -- Hope Survives announces Hidden Impact, a new podcast exploring how brain injury and trauma affect identity, relationships, and everyday life. It is the second podcast from the nonprofit, which supports individuals and families navigating brain injury. The trailer and introductory episode are available now, with the first guest episode premiering on Veterans Day, November 11, 2026.
Host Jeremiah Griffin, an active-duty Navy corpsman, brings his background in military medicine to conversations guided by a central question: What does it take to live with what the world doesn't see?
"Someone can look fine and still be navigating changes that affect their whole life," said Griffin. "I want Hidden Impact to be a place where we take the time to hear those experiences - to understand what people are carrying, what support looks like and what they wish the rest of us knew."
Premiering on Veterans Day, the first guest episode features Vinnie Morales, a veteran and founder of Veterans Community Project. Morales reflects on how the emotional challenges of returning from war affected his relationships, including with his daughters, and the changes he had to make at home. His story sets the tone for Hidden Impact: honest conversations about the often unseen effects of brain injury on identity, family and everyday life.

The show joins the Hope Survives Podcast, hosted by Cristabelle Braden, who draws on her own lived experience of traumatic brain injury and her decade of advocacy and supporting the brain injury community. Griffin brings a different starting point through his background in military medicine and his work with Hope Survives. Together, the two podcasts make room for more perspectives on the ways brain injury affects individuals and families.
"Living with brain injury has shaped the questions I ask and the conversations I have on the Hope Survives Podcast," said Braden, Executive Director of Hope Survives. "Jeremiah brings a different perspective through his background in military medicine, along with a curiosity and willingness to listen and learn from others. Brain injury touches so many parts of a person's life. Having two shows gives us more room to explore those experiences and help people understand one another."
Hidden Impact looks beyond an injury itself to explore its effects on daily life, a person's sense of self and their relationships with others. The show welcomes individuals and families navigating brain injury, as well as anyone seeking to better understand and support them.
