Pervaziv AI Releases Cortex Discover 1.6, Making Persistent AI Lighter as Workspaces Grow
eTradeWire News/10852151
Major update opens large saved AI work 47% faster, cuts interface memory by 56%, speeds streamed response rendering by 48.6%, and quiets inactive sessions.
SAN FRANCISCO - eTradeWire -- Pervaziv AI today announced Cortex Discover 1.6, a major performance update to its dedicated agentic AI browser focused on a growing problem in everyday AI use: the work gets larger over time.
Earlier Cortex Discover releases established that integrated AI could remain responsive during sustained browser use. Discover 1.6 moves the performance program forward by asking a different question: what happens when conversations become substantial, saved workspaces accumulate history, files and page context move through longer workflows, and streamed responses update continuously?
In controlled qualification, Cortex Discover 1.6 opened a large saved workspace 47.1% faster and reduced settled AI interface memory by 56.0%. A streamed response rendering workload completed 48.6% faster, while temporary active data remaining after the tested workflow fell by 99.2%. Inactive session activity was also reduced by 90.0%.

The result is a browser designed not only to start fast, but to stay practical as AI work becomes persistent.
"Persistent AI should become more useful as the work grows, not progressively heavier," said Anoop Jaishankar, Founder and CEO of Pervaziv AI. "Discover 1.6 is about making long running intelligence feel lighter, faster and ready to resume."
Built for the Long Session
Cortex Discover is designed around AI work that continues across research, technical investigation, enterprise applications, files and extended conversations. Discover 1.6 reduces the cost of returning to that work without discarding the continuity that makes persistent AI valuable.
Streaming also receives a significant improvement. The qualified workload completed 48.6% faster, with time spent in long running interface tasks reduced by 51.0%. The improvement helps preserve responsiveness while answers develop in real time, especially inside larger conversations.
When the user turns attention elsewhere, Discover 1.6 also becomes quieter. Inactive session activity dropped by 90.0% in the tested workload, helping keep AI available without treating every open session as active work.

Browser Performance Remains the Guardrail
The strongest gains in Discover 1.6 are inside the persistent AI experience, not in a new browser speed race. In a controlled comparison with Chrome 156 on Apple Silicon, Discover maintained browser wide performance within declared release budgets, including near memory parity, 60 FPS rendering, workload throughput parity and zero dropped video frames.
The signed candidate also completed nine measured sustained sessions with zero workload errors, zero sampling errors and zero retained process growth.
Cortex Discover 1.6 advances a broader Pervaziv AI principle: intelligence should stay close to the work without taking over the machine. Visit https://pervaziv.com to install Discover.
Persistent AI, without persistent overhead.
