Iowa Author Launches Great Quest to Overcome Contention Through Love
eTradeWire News/10852126
Captain Kindman's new book, Love People, launches November 13 on World Kindness Day, inviting people everywhere to join the Love Growers movement.
MUSCATINE, Iowa - eTradeWire -- MUSCATINE, Iowa — At a time when division and disconnection challenge relationships and communities, Iowa author and kindness advocate Randy McNeely, known as Captain Kindman, is inviting people everywhere to join what he calls a Great Quest: building a world where love disrupts and overcomes contention while bringing people closer together.
His new book, Love People—A Powerful Idea Whose Time Has Come: A Practical Guide for Growing Love Through Courageous Kindness, launches November 13, 2026, on World Kindness Day.
But McNeely's vision extends far beyond a book.
"We're not just working to overcome contention," McNeely says. "We're working to grow love, build new connections, restore broken ones, bridge divides, and create a world where people can thrive together—even when they disagree."

A Personal Mission
A survivor of childhood abuse, McNeely credits the love and kindness of others with helping save his life.
"I've experienced firsthand the extraordinary power of love and kindness," he says. "Now I'm on a Great Quest to help others discover that same power and use it to change lives."
Making Love Practical
At the heart of Love People is McNeely's Courageous Kindness Operating System, a practical four-step framework:
The framework equips individuals, businesses, educators, healthcare professionals, and community leaders to strengthen relationships, navigate disagreements, and build meaningful connections.
The book features stories from twelve contributors and a foreword by award-winning entertainer and motivational speaker Jason Hewlett, who described it as "a love letter to humanity."

An Invitation to Become a Love Grower
McNeely hopes the book will help inspire a growing movement of Love Growers—people committed to making love visible through Courageous Kindness.
"Kindness delivers love. Love opens hearts. Open hearts change lives," McNeely says.
A free virtual launch celebration will take place November 12, from 12:00–1:00 PM Eastern, ahead of the November 13 publication.
