Voltas Completes SAM.gov Registration, Opening In-House Medical Device Work to Federal Buyers
eTradeWire News/10851588
Voltas of Cottage Grove, Minnesota, has an active SAM.gov registration (CAGE code 26GX5) as of October 27, 2026. Federal agencies and primes can now work with Voltas on medical device development, manufacturing and EtO sterilization in one facility.
COTTAGE GROVE, Minn. - eTradeWire -- COTTAGE GROVE, Minn. Voltas has completed its registration in the federal System for Award Management (SAM.gov). The registration became active on October 27, 2026, and Voltas holds CAGE code 26GX5. Federal agencies, military research groups and prime contractors can now contract directly with Voltas for medical device development and manufacturing.
Voltas keeps engineering, regulatory work, manufacturing and sterilization in one facility at 8200 97th Street, Cottage Grove, MN 55016. A federal program can bring a patented idea, a research prototype or a napkin sketch, and work with one team through production.
The Voltas team handles R&D, weekly prototyping, mold flow analysis, die mold tooling, injection molding, balloon development, hydrophilic and hydrophobic coatings, cleanroom assembly, packaging and labeling, and distribution. Voltas has on-site two-pallet EtO sterilization capacity and runs sterilization validation in house. The facility is ISO 13485 compliant. The regulatory team supports Pre-Sub, 513(g) and 510(k) work.

Government research programs often fund a device through early prototypes, then need a partner to take it to a build that can pass FDA review and scale. Voltas does both under one roof, so a program does not have to hand the design to a second company for tooling, assembly or sterilization.
Voltas has worked on 128 medical device projects and has 15 current clients. One project is sold in 10 countries.
Contracting officers and prime contractors can find Voltas on SAM.gov under CAGE code 26GX5, or reach the team at https://www.voltas.io.
