Veteran Producer Markpain Returns With 'Instruments of Pain' — Eight Original Beats, Zero Samples
eTradeWire News/10852182
HENDERSON, Nev. - eTradeWire -- Markpain, the veteran hip-hop and R&B producer who co-wrote Bell Biv DeVoe's "Above the Rim" and "Lovely" (1993) and was featured on "1-4-All-4-1" with Boyz II Men, has released 'Instruments of Pain,' the third installment in his beat-tape series. The eight-track project is available now on Spotify via his 50 Producers label, distributed through EMPIRE.
Every track on 'Instruments of Pain' is an original composition built from scratch — no samples, no clearance issues, one-stop master and publishing. It is the same from-scratch approach behind the records that earned Markpain two RIAA Gold awards: Bell Biv DeVoe's "Hootie Mack" (1993) and "East Coast Family Volume 1" (1992), and the same approach he brings to every placement and sync license.
The tape's eight tracks — "Armed and Dangerous," "Crowd Pleaser," "Dog Bone," "Don't Bother Me," "Give Me Something Good," "Solid RnB," "The Crazy in Me," and "What We Feel" — move from hard hip-hop to smooth R&B, all produced by Markpain. "Don't Bother Me" and "Solid RnB" have been spotlighted daily on the 50 Producers channels since the release.

The label's roster includes spoken-word artist Radio Razeem, whose album 'My Constitutional Writes' was released in October 2026. Markpain also hosts 'Behind The Beat with Markpain,' a show on the iHeart app, and publishes Chart Toppers Magazine. He is verified on Instagram, YouTube, Spotify, Genius, Facebook, Vero, Audius, GIPHY, Goodpods, and Boomplay.
