New free directory lets Australians find a dentist by describing what they need in plain words
eTradeWire News/10851605
Find a Dentist (findadentist.com.au) launches with more than 10,000 dental practices listed across Australia and a search that matches people with practices by need and area
BRISBANE, Australia - eTradeWire -- Australians looking for a dentist can now type what they need in their own words, such as "check-up for my child near Parramatta", "chipped tooth" or "anxious patient, Saturday appointment, Geelong", and be matched with dental practices in their area, with Find a Dentist going live nationally at findadentist.com.au.
The free directory lists more than 10,000 dental practices across every state and territory. Instead of scrolling through long lists or guessing which search terms to use, people describe the care they are after and where they are. The site's AI-assisted search turns that request into details such as the type of care, the suburb, town or postcode, opening days and languages, and compares them with the information each practice has provided. Each result explains in plain English why it matched, and distances are shown in kilometres.
Find a Dentist does not take bookings, collect patient details or pass anyone's information to practices. People contact the practice directly by phone, website, booking link or email to confirm anything that matters to them before they book. The site is a search tool and does not give dental or medical advice.

"Most people don't search for a dentist using clinical terms. They search for 'someone who's good with children' or 'somewhere open on Saturday near me'," said Find a Dentist founder Josh Rimmington. "We built Find a Dentist so Australians can say what they need in plain words and see which local practices match, and why, then contact the practice directly. It's free to use, and we don't collect or pass on anyone's details."
Find a Dentist is open about how results are ordered. Some practices pay for a Premium listing. Premium listings are clearly labelled "Premium", are only shown when they are a relevant match for the search, and appear above other matching results ordered by how well they fit. In searches that sound like an emergency, a Premium practice is only shown if it offers emergency care. A practice that is not a relevant match is never shown because it pays. The full approach is published at findadentist.com.au/how-results-are-ranked.
Find a Dentist is operated by JR Marketing Group Pty Ltd, a Queensland-based dental marketing business that has worked with more than 250 dental clinics. Some listed practices are clients of JR Marketing Group.
