Legendary Psychedelic Artist Victor Moscoso to Sign Fan Owned Artwork and Offer Limited Edition Pieces at 2026 TRPS Festival in San Francisco
eTradeWire News/10851657
At 90, the iconic psychedelic artist will meet collectors, sign artwork, and offer a limited selection of pieces for purchase at the November 7 event in Golden Gate Park.
SAN FRANCISCO - eTradeWire -- Victor Moscoso, the internationally acclaimed artist whose revolutionary psychedelic posters helped define the visual identity of San Francisco's 1960s music scene, will appear at The Rock Poster Society's (TRPS) 2026 Festival of Rock Posters on Saturday, November 7, at the Hall of Flowers in Golden Gate Park.
At 90 years old, Moscoso continues to connect with generations of art and music enthusiasts through his groundbreaking work. During the festival, he plans to spend much of the day meeting fans, signing artwork, and offering a limited selection of his pieces for purchase.
Fans and collectors are welcome to bring their own Victor Moscoso artwork for signing or explore a selection of limited edition pieces available for purchase at the event. Autographs will be available for a fee, with pricing varying depending on the artwork.
"Musicians get to perform in front of their fans and receive instant feedback. As an artist, I work alone, and it can get lonely. The TRPS Festival is one of the few times I get to meet the people who appreciate my work and hear from them face to face. It's my chance to step onto the stage, and I get to do it once a year," said Moscoso.
The Artist Who Made Color Move
A central figure in San Francisco's psychedelic art movement, Moscoso revolutionized concert poster design through his innovative use of contrasting colors, optical vibration, and unconventional typography.

Having studied at Yale under renowned color theorist Josef Albers, Moscoso developed techniques that challenged traditional graphic design principles, creating compositions that seemed to vibrate and move before the viewer's eyes.
His iconic artwork became closely associated with San Francisco's legendary music scene, including the Fillmore and Avalon Ballroom era, and helped establish psychedelic posters as a significant form of American graphic art.
Moscoso also became an influential contributor to the underground comix movement, including the groundbreaking Zap Comix.
His contributions to visual culture have earned recognition from major museums and design institutions, and his work continues to attract collectors of fine art, music memorabilia, graphic design, and pop culture history.
Special Opportunity for Collectors and Fans
The 2026 TRPS Festival of Rock Posters brings together artists, dealers, collectors, and enthusiasts to celebrate the artistic legacy of rock music.
Moscoso's appearance offers visitors an opportunity to meet the artist, have their own Victor Moscoso artwork signed for a fee, and explore a limited selection of pieces available for purchase.
Collectors interested in specific artwork, limited edition pieces, or special requests are encouraged to contact Justo Moscoso, Victor's official representative, in advance of the festival. Advance inquiries can help the family coordinate requests and discuss potential availability before the event.
