GreenSight Joins Character Labs G7, Secures $200K Investment
eTradeWire News/10851868
Character Capital, whose team has helped build products at Slack, YouTube, and Gusto, is backing GreenSight with $200,000 and hands-on mentorship to accelerate its growth and bring AI-powered pricing intelligence to the secondary electronics market.
SAN FRANCISCO - eTradeWire -- GreenSight, the AI-powered pricing platform for the secondary electronics market, announced its acceptance into Character Labs G7, a selective five-week accelerator administered by venture capital firm Character Capital. The program brings together promising early-stage technology companies and provides each with a $200,000 investment, hands-on mentorship, and proven methodologies for building successful businesses.
The seventh cohort kicked off last week with an in-person gathering at the Center for Architecture + Design in San Francisco, bringing together founders for collaborative workshops, hands-on exercises, and strategic planning.
Throughout the accelerator, GreenSight will work directly with Character Capital's founding team, including Jake Knapp and John Zeratsky, creators of the Design Sprint and Foundation Sprint, bestselling authors of Sprint and Click, and former design partners at Google Ventures. The program also includes guidance from Eli Blee-Goldman, co-founder and general partner at Character Capital.
Together, Character's team has worked with more than 300 startups, including Slack, YouTube, Gusto, and Flatiron Health, helping founders navigate critical product and business decisions. Their sprint methodologies have been adopted by organizations around the world and are designed to help companies rapidly test ideas, sharpen their positioning, and build products that customers love.

For GreenSight, the opportunity comes as the company works to modernize how IT assets are valued, quoted, and routed throughout the secondary electronics market. Its platform combines AI-powered device identification, real-time market intelligence, and transparent, source-backed pricing to help IT asset disposition providers, electronics recyclers, brokers, and wholesalers make faster and more profitable decisions.
"There's an enormous opportunity to modernize the infrastructure behind the secondary electronics market," said Jake Daniels, Co-Founder and CEO of GreenSight. "We've spent the last two years working directly with industry operators to understand where existing tools fall short. Having the support of a team that's helped build some of the world's most successful technology companies is an incredible opportunity to sharpen our strategy, challenge our thinking, and build GreenSight into a lasting business."
Participation in Character Labs represents an important milestone in GreenSight's development, providing both additional capital and direct access to experienced investors and product leaders as the company continues building its AI-powered platform.
Following the five-week program, GreenSight will participate in Character Labs' Demo Day, scheduled for February 17, 2027, where founders will present their companies to an audience of investors.
