eTradeWire News/10831033
SAN ANTONIO - eTradeWire -- Hosted by Partners Resource Network
San Antonio, TX — Families, educators, advocates, and professionals across Texas are invited to attend the Wrightslaw 2026 Conference, a full-day training focused on special education law and effective advocacy strategies. Hosted by Partners Resource Network (PRN), the event will take place March 26, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM at Morgan's Multi-Assistance Center in San Antonio.
The conference will be led by Pete Wright, Esq., co-founder of Wrightslaw and one of the nation's leading experts in special education law. Participants will gain practical knowledge and tools to help them advocate more effectively for students with disabilities.
Throughout the day, attendees will learn how to understand their child's rights under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), decode evaluations and IEP documents, write effective parent letters, and prepare for ARD/IEP meetings with confidence. The training will also highlight common advocacy mistakes and provide evidence-based strategies families can use immediately.

"Attending the Wrightslaw conference years ago transformed how I understood my child's rights and the special education process," said Shannon Rosson, PACT Project Director at Partners Resource Network. "The knowledge and confidence I gained helped our family advocate for the support our daughter needed to succeed throughout her educational journey."
Participants will receive hands-on guidance, real-world case examples, and a set of Wrightslaw special education books valued at $113.60, including From Emotions to Advocacy, Special Education Law, and All About IEPs.
Parent stipends are available for families who register and submit a request before March 20, allowing many parents to attend at no cost. Parent registration without a stipend is $50, and professional registration is $150.
Registration is open to parents, caregivers, advocates, educators, attorneys, and anyone who participates in the IEP process. Lunch will be provided, and attendees will receive a certificate of attendance.
