JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - eTradeWire -- For well over a decade, Jacksonville, FL-based Woody's Bar-B-Q has been proud to take part in THE PLAYERS Championship at TPC Sawgrass. The last six years, the classic Southern BBQ chain has had a presence in the Patriots Outpost – a special venue at the week-long golf tournament designated for active-duty military members, veterans and their families. Last year, Woody's Bar-B-Q was on deck to serve its crowd-pleasing array of pulled pork, comfort food sides and more to the nation's heroes, but due to COVID-19, the event was cancelled out of an abundance of caution.

This year, THE PLAYERS returns March 9-14, but on-site capacity will be reduced to ensure the health and safety of all attendees. In support of heightened military restrictions limiting large gatherings and adherence to health and safety protocols, there will not be a Patriots Outpost venue at the 2021 championship. However, to extend the spirit of the Patriots Outpost beyond the borders of THE PLAYERS Championship, working in conjunction with the tournament's Community Outreach team, Woody's Bar-B-Q will feature a special menu at its corporate Ponte Vedra Beach location.

Available during the week of THE PLAYERS Championship 2021, the menu will showcase a select number of the chain's most popular items at 50% off regular prices for active-duty members of the U.S. military, veterans and their families.
