eTradeWire News/10810591
PLEASANTVILLE, Iowa - eTradeWire -- Webb Shadle Public Library has been selected as one of 300 participating libraries awarded a $10,000 grant through Libraries Transforming Communities: Accessible Small and Rural Communities, an initiative of the American Library Association (ALA) in collaboration with the Association for Rural & Small Libraries (ARSL).
The library's proposal includes the purchase of a Neat collaboration board, which will enhance virtual services and provide better access to essential resources for community members facing accessibility issues and related challenges. Neat's video collaboration technology, combined with existing virtual services across the United States, offers limitless possibilities. Providing these essential virtual services at the heart of our community will have a significant impact—especially for those with scheduling conflicts, unreliable transportation, physical limitations, no home internet, or no access to a video conferencing device.
