WAKE FOREST, N.C. - eTradeWire -- It's All Write is proud to announce the launch of the long-awaited book, We Got Your Back – A Dynamite Six Saga by Patricia Schoch.
This book follows the lives of six diverse teenagers, friends since kindergarten, whose bonds begin to unravel during the first year of high school. Twins CeCe and Bo, Micky, Jeremy, Maria, and Leah all have experienced personal changes, but Leah has been exploring adolescence in different, riskier ways than the other five and is drifting away from the group.
Once out on summer break, the six friends get together to catch up on their lives. Leah, hating to be left out of anything, goes along with the group as they work to help each other solve their problems, but it isn't until she encounters danger from risky choices that she learns the true extent of the group's loyalty as they risk their lives to save her from human traffickers.

Their individual stories are presented in real, and sometimes raw, ways, because life is sometimes raw. It's fun though, too, and despite the heaviness of their problems, the friends find time to enjoy some lightheartedness with humor, budding romances, and fun escapades. Through reading the words in these stories, young people will learn that they are not alone with their teen angst, and there is a list of potential resources where they can find help at the back of the book. Included also are Book Club discussion questions that will make your meetups go smoothl
This book makes a perfect holiday gift!
WHAT OTHERS ARE SAYING:
"I found myself eagerly turning the pages to see what would happen next. The book kept my attention all the way through. I felt like I knew the characters well and could feel the emotions that they were feeling. It was encouraging to see the characters stick together because of their friendship, even when they would disagree or get annoyed with each other. I really liked that each chapter was narrated by a different character. There were educational moments scattered throughout that would be helpful to the targeted reader. This book sensitively portrayed many issues that are facing teens today. I plan on giving it to my 13-year-old granddaughter."
