Ultrastones Transforms NY Kitchen With Arabescato Corchia Marble
eTradeWire News/10836586
New York's premier natural stone supplier demonstrates the power of full surface marble cladding across kitchen island, backsplash, walls, and range hood surround
FARMINGDALE, N.Y. - eTradeWire -- Some kitchens are built for cooking. Others are designed to take your breath away. This recently completed marble-clad kitchen in New York falls squarely into the latter category. We were thrilled to see how our marble transformed the culinary space into a bespoke design statement.
Our client choose Arabescato Corchia marble from floor to ceiling throughout the entire space. The waterfall island, the full-height backsplash behind the range, the walls framing the arched window, the range hood surround — every surface clad in the same stone. The result is a kitchen that feels less like a room in a house and more like something you'd find in a high-end boutique hotel. The veining flows from one surface to the next without interruption, and once you see it, it's hard to imagine the space any other way.

What made this project special was the willingness to go further than most people do. A lot of homeowners love the idea of marble but stop at the countertop. This client pushed all the way — and that decision made all the difference. There's a cohesion to a fully stone kitchen that you simply can't fake with a mixed-material approach. It feels considered, complete, intentional.
One thing we always tell people about polished Arabescato Corchia: it plays with light in a way that surprises you. Even with so much bold patterning on every wall, the finish keeps the kitchen feeling open and bright. The natural light coming through that arched window bounces around the room beautifully. The white shaker cabinets, chrome hardware, and that stunning black and gold range all hold their own — but they're happy to let the stone lead.
Projects like this one are exactly why we love what we do. There's something about natural stone — the way no two slabs are ever quite the same, the way Arabescato Corchia in particular seems to carry its own energy — that no engineered surface has ever matched.
