ULI North Florida's Awards for Excellence to recognize real estate projects and leaders

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - eTradeWire -- The Urban Land Institute (ULI) of North Florida proudly announces the Awards for Excellence on Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at the Hilton Jacksonville at Mayo Clinic. ULI North Florida's Awards for Excellence luncheon event will bring together the area's top land use and real estate leaders to connect, recognize, and celebrate the exceptional real estate projects and organizations that are advancing the industry throughout the District Council.
The event will also recognize one of North Florida's most influential leaders, Shad Khan, owner of the Jacksonville Jaguars, with the Visionary Leader Award. The award recognizes an individual who has made an outstanding contribution within the real estate industry and the community. The luncheon program will include a conversation with Khan moderated by Edward Burr, Chairman and CEO of GreenPointe Holdings.
The Awards for Excellence honors the region's most impactful development projects that demonstrate excellence and best practices in the areas of planning, design, construction, management, financial viability, and sustainability. Awards will be presented in the following categories: New Development, Public Sector/Non-Profit/Education, Urban Development, Reuse/Repurpose, and Parks and Open Space. ULI North Florida has announced the finalists for the 2026 Awards for Excellence on the event website.

The awards are competitively based and honor exceptional development projects that exemplify ULI North Florida's mission and values. Development teams receiving awards demonstrate innovation, responsible use of land and beneficial community impact. Award submissions are being reviewed by a panel of independent judges who are ULI members that represent the local and national development community.
