Making a Difference at Malin Bridge Primary and Over 413 Schools
SHEFFIELD, U.K. - eTradeWire -- Twinkl's Community Collection, a dynamic initiative dedicated to supporting schools, recently made a visit to Malin Bridge Primary in Sheffield.
Empowering Schools and Communities
Twinkl Community Collection supports schools and educational organisations, to kick-start and get the ball rolling on exciting projects. Schools can apply for support from the Twinkl Community Collection pot, for whatever project they like. With each round, one applicant receives £500, and Twinkl aims to help as many other educators as possible with additional funds, items and resource support. Applications can be submitted throughout the year to tackle the real problems educators face every day. Community Collection is supported by Twinkl and ticket sales from the Twinkl Prize Draw.
Malin Bridge School, in their application to Twinkl Community Collection, requested funding for something special for all the children attending the holiday club. Twinkl provided 100 Twinkl-branded water bottles and caps with the school logo, a free month of Twinkl resources for parents, and teacher planners for the dedicated staff.

The highlight of the visit was the "Twinkl Challengemaster Workshop," which involved a series of dance, drama, and team-building tasks.
"We played fun games that we had never played before and it gave us lots of ideas for future activities to play with the children. The Twinkl staff were really friendly and they were good at getting our children to listen and get involved," said Gayle Trueman, HAF Coordinator for Malin Bridge Primary.
The children were thrilled too, "I liked the wizard, giant and goblins game, it was really funny. And I liked winning a trophy and certificate," said Bethany, one of the participants.
Supporting Children During School Holidays
Malin Bridge School's HAF (Holiday Activities and Food) programme, initiated this year, has had a positive impact on the attending children. They were able to explore new culinary experiences, socialise with peers, and enjoy new summer activities in a safe and familiar environment, with the support from Twinkl Community Collection.

It was wonderful to be able to visit, and see the impact in person that this support has on the children and staff. They have done something amazing this summer with their HAF programme and we were so pleased to be able to be a part of it. Thanks for having us, Malin Bridge Primary!" said Hannah Corrigan, Community Collection and Prize Draw Manager at Twinkl.
