ESSINGTON, Pa. - eTradeWire -- TVS Classic Sports Network, the 24/7 ad supported free to view streaming network on the WatchYour.TV platform, powered by Tulix, will be available to cable systems in December to coincide with the sunset of the NBCSN cable sports network. This will mark the return of a classic sports cable network after ESPN Classic folded their cable channel several years ago.

The network will be made available to cable systems on a barter basis, with no subscriber charge to the cable operators. TVS-CSN was in fact the first cable TV network, being established in 1973 as  All Sports All Day. The channel was absorbed into the TVS Television Network in 1987.

As a barter service, TVS Classic Sports Network will be available at no per subscriber charge to cable systems and satellite providers. The network will be advertising supported. TVS AdSales.Com, headed by iconic sports ad sales marketer Jerry Wolff, will handle TVS sponsorships. Wolff established the ad sales on regional sports networks with Sports Channel and the New York Yankees. From 1987-2005, Wolff had the exclusive ad sales rights to 15 regional cable sports services.

TVS Television Network was founded in 1960 and is the fourth oldest commercial broadcast TV network in the USA. It operates TVSMicroChannels.Com, a 40 channel post cable network streaming service on the WatchYour.TV platform, powered by Tulix.
