NEW YORK - eTradeWire -- Tutanota LLC ("Purchaser") announces an amendment to its previously-announced tender offer (the "Offer") to acquire up to 250,000 shares of common stock (the "Shares") of Applied Materials, Inc. for $380.00 per Share (the "Offer Price"), less applicable dividends, such that the Offer will expire to 5:00 p.m., New York City time, on Friday, July 17, 2026, unless further extended or earlier terminated (the "Expiration Date"). The Offer was previously scheduled to expire at 5:00 p.m., New York City time, on Friday, November 13, 2026. All other terms and conditions of the Offer remain unchanged.

Shareholders who have already tendered their Shares do not have to re-tender their Shares or take any other action due to the amendment of the Offer's expiration date.
