Saturday, May 30 (7 p.m.) Loyal Florida Costume Ball, where you dress up with finery from any era to enjoy dance lessons, historic music, and desserts, spiced with Patrick Henry's "Give Me Liberty, or Give Me Death."
Sunday, May 31 (12 noon–6 p.m.): Devotions and Declarations, with hymns for Patriots and Loyalists, the Declaration of Independence, a Family Tea Dance (with a Loyal Florida Boston harbor tea party), and a stirring parade as the militia marches out to defend East Florida from Patriot invasion
"This is history you can see, hear, and taste firsthand," said Ben Gunter, Artistic Director at Theater with a Mission. "We've designed this experience to go beyond observation. Families will interact with characters, witness the tensions between Patriots and Loyalists, and explore the diverse voices that shaped Florida in 1776. It's fun, it's immersive, it's educational, and it's deeply human. Our goal is for every person who attends to leave with a stronger connection to history and a clearer understanding of how these stories still matter today."
