The Wine School of Philadelphia Launches "Quick Pours"
eTradeWire News/10819234
The Wine School's new Quick Pours series delivers real-world wine skills in just one hour — taught by the next generation of certified instructors.
PHILADELPHIA - eTradeWire -- The Wine School of Philadelphia has launched Quick Pours, a fast-paced new series of one-hour wine classes that trade pretension for practicality. Each session focuses on real-world wine skills — the kind people actually use — taught by the school's up-and-coming instructors.
Every Quick Pour class runs about 45 minutes, includes two curated wines, and covers a single focused topic like how to order at a business dinner, shop smart at the grocery store, or talk to the pros at your favorite wine shop. Tickets are $45 for the public and just $5 for members, part of the school's mission to make wine education both accessible and world-class.
"This series is about meeting people where they are," says Alana Zerbe, Director of Wine Education. "You don't need a background in wine — you just need an hour and a little curiosity. Quick Pours are designed to make learning easy, useful, and, most of all, enjoyable."

The new series also marks a turning point for the Wine School's teaching philosophy. Each Quick Pour is led by a rising instructor currently enrolled in the Teacher Training Track, the rigorous certification process that leads to the Certified Sommelier Instructor (CSI) credential through the National Wine School.
"It's not just about accessibility for students," Zerbe adds. "It's about accessibility for educators too — building a pathway for passionate people who want to teach, lead, and grow in this industry."
The Quick Pours lineup includes:
Quick Pours classes are offered weekly at the Wine School's Rittenhouse campus. Seating is limited and reservations are required.
