What this means for young girls and soccer

Some may not have known this, but women's soccer used to be banned in France along with many other countries in 1941, as soccer was considered harmful to women's health. That's why this year was so significant as the showcase of women's soccer itself is a success. This event was an opportunity for global stars to emerge over 52 games, and empower girls all over to enjoy soccer. For countries like Chile that haven't seen as large of a presence in womens' national teams, the journey to France was a dream. Women playing on the field, practicing drills and showing what they've got!
