As part of the PRISM initiative launched by United Global Alliance, the donation is set to help minority communities in the pandemic

WASHINGTON - eTradeWire -- The United Impact Fund (https://co.linkedin.com/company/sdg-impact-fund), in partnership with California Health Medical Reserve Corps (https://www.linkedin.com/company/california-hea...) (CHMRC) has donated 1,000 respirator masks and 100 gowns to OLE Health (https://www.olehealth.org/). The donation will help support residents and healthcare workers at the forefront of COVID-19 in Napa and Solano counties.

In the COVID-19 pandemic, personal protective equipment (PPE) has been in critically short supply (https://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJMp2006141), putting health workers and everyday people at risk of spreading and contracting the virus. The mask and gown donation from the United Impact Fund and CHMRC has come at a pivotal time and is already being used to protect the staff and people OLE Health serves who are most at risk. The life-saving PPE is allowing OLE Health to continue to provide high-quality care to thousands of patients, especially in a time of crisis.
