Bill Champlin headines The Church Studio's inaugural Legacy Artist Concert Series

TULSA, Okla. - eTradeWire -- The Church Studio, is hosting a special, private opening to celebrate the completion of their extensive 4-year renovation. Bill Champlin will headline the first of a series of musical concert events, at The Church Studio, 3rd & Trenton in Tulsa, on September 30, 2021.  Bill is a renowned pop/rock artist, songwriter & musician.  With over 5 decades in the music business, he's best known as the lead vocalist in the band, Chicago, from 1981 to 2009.  Joining him is his wife,  Tamara Champlin a singer-songwriter in her own right and Tulsa's own, saxophonist Grady Nichols.

The Church Studio has designed a series of rare and highly curated, intimate concerts showcasing Legacy Artists for a limited number of guests.  It will be a thrilling experience of magnificent and brilliant sound in the transcendent sanctuary of The Church Studio.  Each concert will undeniably be a "bucket list" level event.  100 guests will enjoy:

Bill Champlin is a multi-Grammy Award-winning singer, musician, arranger, producer, and songwriter. Bill formed the band, Sons of Champlin in 1965 and was a member of Chicago for 28 years, where he performed lead vocals on two of Chicago's biggest hits, "Look Away" and "I Don't Wanna Live Without Your Love." Bill co-wrote Earth, Wind & Fire's "After The Love Has Gone" and "Turn Your Love Around" made popular by George Benson.

The Church Studio, is the former Tulsa home of Leon Russell's Shelter Records and is a digital and analog recording studio, event venue, audio engineering school, and on the National Register of Historic Places for it's relevance to American Music Culture.
