The Advanced Periodontal Implant Associates Office Now Has A Comprehensive In-House Lab!
eTradeWire News/10718341
With the comprehensive in-house lab in Chicago, IL at the Periodontal Implant Associates office, Dr. Amarik Singh can now give patients efficient and effective procedures with advanced technologies.
CHICAGO - eTradeWire -- Now that they have the comprehensive in-house lab at their state-of-the-art Periodontal Implant Associates office, patients can get the comprehensive and comfortable procedures they need and deserve with leading-edge technologies. These technologies allow Dr. Amarik Singh and his team to better serve patients in need of treatments including laser gum disease therapy, dental implant placement, gum grafting, bone grafting, and other transformative restorative procedures.
Two of the advancements that have been brought into Dr. Singh's practice are the GALILEOS from Dentsy Sirona machine and digital x-ray equipment. The GALILEOS is a cone-beam computed technology (CBCT) scanner. Designed to produce well-defined, 3D, and cross-sectioned images, the GALILEOS works quickly and has been engineered for patient comfort.

Once the 3D images have been captured, they can automatically be downloaded and then viewed by doctors, staff, and the patient. Typically, the GALILEOS images are then compared with digital x-rays. For their part, digital x-rays require minimal radiation and require no wait time to deliver informative 2D images.
Looking at both the GALILEOS and digital x-ray images provide Dr. Singh with a comprehensive and complete view of the structures of a patient's mouth and other facial anatomies. When these diagnostic tools are used in tandem, all the images can help identify issues and can serve as the springboard for discussions about solutions.
After Dr. Singh and a patient determine the most reasonable path forward to address problems like periodontal disease, failing teeth, missing teeth, or bone loss, Dr. Singh turns to the other technologies in his in-house dental lab. For instance, during surgical procedures, he often leverages microsurgery microscopes. These microscopes are perfect for dental surgery, as they enable Dr. Singh to visualize the treatment much better than with traditional dental loupes. Complete with both magnification and lighting components, microsurgery microscopes are invaluable tools for any modern dental practice. Additionally, they can be used in a wide range of circumstances including for the placement of full mouth dental implants.
