Roofing company to replace condos roof following Hurricane Michael

FORT MYERS, Fla. - Dec. 5, 2018 - eTradeWire -- Target Roofing & Sheet Metal is replacing the roof on the Mariner East Resort in Panama City Beach after Hurricane Michael caused severe damage to the condominium building.

Mariner East is a six-story, 60-unit midrise positioned directly on Panama City Beach, just two miles from the pier at St. Andrews State Park. The 10,000-square-foot flat roof will feature a modified bitumen system and torch down roofing, which offers supreme durability and longevity despite harsh weather conditions.

"Time is of the essence after a hurricane, and we provided an emergency dry-in shortly after Hurricane Michael to protect Mariner East from further water intrusion and damage," said Casey Crowther, president of Target Roofing & Sheet Metal. "Many roofers aren't licensed or insured to work on mid-rise and high-rise buildings, so I'm glad we were able to help the residents and guests of Mariner East get back into their beautiful building as quickly as possible."
