SVMA's 2024 Gala – A Celebration of Art

eTradeWire News/10776054
SONOMA, Calif. - eTradeWire -- On Saturday July 13, the stone walls at Buena Vista Winery echoed with applause and appreciation for Sonoma Valley Museum of Art and its mission to build community around art. It was a perfect summer evening to enjoy a sumptuous dinner prepared by chef Lisa Boisset of The Cook and the Drummer paired with Buena Vista wines.

Around 200 people enjoyed the entertaining MC and auctioneer Ellen Toscano whose enthusiasm was matched by the generous bids of SVMA supporters. A stirring documentary produced by National Geographic filmmaker Ron Bowman included testimonials from Kristen Madsen, Linda Keaton, Alistair Monroe, Kevin McNeely, Rosemary McNeely, Miki Hsu Leavey, Margie Maynard, and Jeanette Rodriguez Chien.

Gala auction items included vacation packages to Hawaii and Puerto Vallarta, Tibetan rugs designed by Tsherin Sherpa, and two paintings created live that evening by

world-renowned performance painter, David Garibaldi.
