NAPLES, Fla. - eTradeWire -- Sunshine Ace Hardware raised $27,994 during a monthlong campaign to support pediatric health care through Children's Miracle Network.

Throughout April, customers at all Sunshine Ace stores in Southwest Florida could round up their purchases or choose a specific dollar amount to donate at the register.

Donations collected at Sunshine Ace Hardware stores in Collier, Lee and Charlotte counties support Golisano Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida. Donations made at Crowder Bros. Ace Hardware and Crowder's Gifts & Gadgets stores in Bradenton and Lakewood Ranch, as well as Sunshine Ace Hardware in Largo, support Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg.

Since declaring Children's Miracle Network as its primary charitable partner three years ago, Sunshine Ace has raised $284,272 through a series of monthly and seasonal fundraising campaigns.
