Suncoast Health Council Names Lisa Nugent as Executive Director

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - eTradeWire -- The Suncoast Health Council is pleased to announce the appointment of Lisa Nugent, MPH as its new Executive Director beginning July 1st. With a successful career in healthcare administration and community health, Nugent brings a wealth of experience and a strong commitment to improving public health in our region.
"With a collective 15 years of experience at Suncoast Health Council, Lisa Nugent was the ideal choice for the new Executive Director," stated Elizabeth Rugg, Former Executive Director. "I am eager to witness Lisa and the team expand upon the council's robust foundation and spearhead initiatives that will profoundly impact the lives of those we continue to support."
Nugent's expertise in nonprofit management and health education is supported by a Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management and a Master's Degree in Public Health. Collaborating with a team of skilled professionals, she has advanced the council's mission through rigorous needs assessments, comprehensive evaluations, and the execution of targeted health planning activities, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement in public health services.
