SULAAH Expands Lost Files With "THE BEAT" Lyric Video and AI-Assisted Sound Series
eTradeWire News/10839602
The independent fashion and visual storytelling publication extends its Issue V world through music, memory, lyric videos, and AI-assisted production.
BROOKLYN, N.Y. - eTradeWire -- SULAAH expands the world of SULAAH Magazine Issue V: Lost Files — Reclaiming What Was Lost with the lyric video for THE BEAT, dropping today, Sunday, June 14, at 8 PM. The video is part of The Creolization of Me, a SULAAH SOUND File series pairing music, lyrics, fashion visuals, memory, and storytelling.
Music has always shaped SULAAH Magazine. With the SULAAH SOUND Files, the magazine moves beyond the page and into rhythm, voice, movement, atmosphere, and sound. The series began with the visual world of Lost Files. After the official Lost Files trailer and Introducing The Griot, the project needed music without rigid rules — sound that could move across genres, cultures, memories, and emotional landscapes.
The Creolization of Me uses lyrics written by SULAAH and AI-assisted production to shape rhythm, tempo, and atmosphere. It allows archived lyrics and new ideas to become sound files. Songs like THE BEAT and PEACE may never have lived in this form without AI-assisted production.

This leg of Lost Files uses AI-assisted production while SULAAH Magazine continues to center artists, collaborators, and human creative labor. The goal is not replacement, but access: helping smaller creators build proof of concept until the right collaborators can come in. Following SULAAH Magazine Issue IV: RAGE, a sharp departure from the traditional aesthetics of Strength, Lost Files moves into a layered space between beauty and disruption, memory and reinvention, personal history and social commentary.
To date, SULAAH has released four SULAAH SOUND Files through DistroKid: MY PROPERTY, THE BEAT, PEACE, and Broken Dreams. The songs are available on major streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube. The official Lost Files trailer, Introducing The Griot, and the lyric video for MY PROPERTY have also been released.
MY PROPERTY is a proclamation of self-ownership and survival. THE BEAT, originally written in 2009, is a sensual dedication to rhythm, movement, and the intimate relationship between music and the body. PEACE, originally written in 2023, moves between grief, protest, justice, and hope. Broken Dreams explores manipulation, trauma, and waking up inside someone else's fractured reality.
