Starving Artists Release "Talking Bible," Fifth Remixed Track from 1986 EP

eTradeWire News/10804765
NORFOLK, Va. - eTradeWire -- Starving Artists today released "Talking Bible," the fifth remixed and remastered single from their 1986 self-titled EP.

Following the re-releases of "Acid Rain," "Wallflower," "Model Without Cause," and "Don't Say Bad Words," the new mix for "Talking Bible" enhances the track's original energy, now presented with enhanced clarity.

Vocalist Bert Kerr offered insight into the song's lyrical inspiration: "I was struck by a commercial for a talking Bible where historical figures, many from the Middle East, all spoke with American accents. That contrast became the seed for the lyrics."

The track also reflects the cultural atmosphere in which it was written. Starving Artists were based in Norfolk, Virginia, the heart of the Bible Belt, where evangelical figures were fixtures on TV. "Talking Bible" emerged in response to that environment—part commentary, part cultural snapshot.

The "Remixed & Remastered" series has successfully connected Starving Artists with both original fans and new listeners.
