ST. LOUIS - eTradeWire -- St. Louis' largest, free networking event, Network-A-Thon, will be held virtually, 4:30pm to 6:30pm, Wednesday, February 3, 2021. This is the fifth time the event has been held on a remote basis.

Network-A-Thon is designed to enable each participant to share their information  with 30 people per hour based on business type and desired connection. Some attendees will be randomly picked to share their information with all people in "attendance". This can easily top 200 people or more.

Participants are assigned "random rooms" based on their industry and whom they would like to do business with. Categories include Business to Business, Business to Consumer, Home and Home Services, Weddings and Events, and Attorneys.

The event is hosted by Office Supply Solutions and sponsored by 50 local businesses. Over 250 area business professionals are expected to participate in the Zoom event.

said Mark Brimer, Founder of Office Supply Solutions. "These free events are our way of giving back to the community. This is our sixth year and the amount of attendees continues to grow."

"We have done dozens of in-person events but the virtual gathering enables you to make new connections without leaving home. Location is of course not an issue. We have people attending from both Missouri and Illinois. In all, hundreds of referrals have come from these events and we expect a great turnout on February 3."

Brimer added that event sponsors and randomly picked attendees will get their information typed by their staff in a special note section. The notes will be sent out to their entire database of over 1500 people.

"Participants get a lot of exposure in a short period of time. In this pandemic limiting economy it can be difficult to make new business relationships. Network-A-Thon bridges the gap and provides the opportunity to meet new people and potentially increase your business in an environment that is safe and secure."
