In what is renowned for being one of the most fiercely competitive categories, SortRefer received the 'Highly Commended' award, an accolade they share with Parfitt Cresswell. The overall winner of the 'Best Conveyancing Services' award was Gilroy Steel.

SortRefer did not initially campaign for the award - they were nominated by the voting public and were only notified when they had been shortlisted. They then enlisted the support of their mortgage broker customers, who played a crucial role in securing the commendation.

The What Mortgage Awards are now in their 31^st year and this year's event was a unique Monopoly themed ceremony and networking event which took place at the Oxo2 on London's Southbank.
