LOS ANGELES - May 20, 2019 - eTradeWire -- In a 2017 article, The Huffington Post called Colin Brittain "one of the music industry's wunderkinds" and "a sonic wizard, who takes the creative ideas and energy of musicians and, waving his magic wand, imbues the musical concepts with a delightful spark of life."  Brittain's recent signing with Warner/Chappell Music is a celebrated benchmark in his already-astounding young career.

Warner/Chappell Music, the global music publishing company of Warner Music Group, is home to a wide array of legendary songwriters and a rich catalog of contemporary hits and influential standards.  Of the signing, David Goldsen (Senior Director, A&R) says, "Colin is such a hardworking, focused and passionate songwriter. I've been lucky to be able to spend a lot of time with him and discuss the kinds of artists and projects he wants to work on and help shape. He has such an impressive work acumen that reaches beyond songwriting and producing as well. All of this has me so excited for what he's working on and where he's looking to go from here."

Brittain's work alongside producers such as Kato Khandwala (Blondie, Paramore), John Feldman (5 Seconds of Summer, Blink 182) and his sometimes-partner - Nicholas "RAS" Furlong (5 Seconds of Summer, Papa Roach, Avicii) only begins to display the quality and diversity of which Brittain is capable.

A Producer, Lyricist, Composer, Arranger, Mixer, Engineer, Drummer, Vocalist, guitarist, keyboardist and more, Brittain has built a life around musical versatility, stemming from early experience in the band he started with his brother, Oh No! Fiasco in 2011 growing into the hard work he has done with the likes of One Ok Rock, All Time Low, Basement, Dashboard Confessional, 5 Seconds Of Summer, Avicii, Steve Aoki, Hands Like Houses and – most recently - A Day To Remember for their major label debut.

Born and raised in Knoxville, TN Colin Brittain Cunningham grew up in a musical family –his father was always in a band.  "He always had music laying around," Colin added, from his interview with Cryptic Rock.  "My father was always in a band and always had music laying around. My sister is a really great Warner Chapel songwriter in Nashville. My brother is in a band that I was also in. It has always been around my family and I've always wanted to share that love with the rest of the world."

Of his love for his adopted hometown of LA, Brittain says "Los Angeles has always appealed to me ever since I first came here in 2012.  I was mysticized by the ambition and the passion for creation here, something that I don't take for granted.  Everyone is at the top of their game in Los Angeles and it only inspires you to keep reaching,  keep connecting with people."  Adding "I will say the same about Warner Chappell, it just feels like a good home.  I have a deep creative respect for Greg Sowders, David Goldsen and so many others-  I can't wait to see what happens in 2019/20!"
