SAN DIEGO - eTradeWire -- Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that Tara Giery has joined the San Diego office as an associate. Giery will be part of the Private Client Services practice group, with a focus in comprehensive estate planning, trust administration, and charitable planning for clients.

Giery holds an LL.M. in Taxation, graduating summa cum laude, as well as a J.D., cum laude, from the University of San Diego School of Law. During her time in the J.D. program, she served on the Appellate Moot Court Executive Board, acted as a Comments Editor for the San Diego Law Review, and was a teaching assistant for Legal Writing and Research.

In her LL.M. studies, Giery was awarded both the Linden Root Dickenson Tax Scholarship and the RJS Law TCI Scholarship. She also received the Dean's Tax Scholar Award for achieving the highest cumulative GPA in her program.
