ORANGE COUNTY, Calif. - eTradeWire -- Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that Orange County Partner Michele Sabo Assayag has been appointed to serve on the board of directors of Laura's House, an Orange County-based domestic and family violence prevention nonprofit organization. The diverse board consists of dedicated individuals from the community who are committed to the mission and vision of Laura's House and strive to work year-round to support the organization and represent Laura's House as ambassadors in the community.
Assayag serves as chair of the firm's Orange County Community Involvement Committee, helping to be the voice of the firm and to identify worthwhile initiatives for the office. Assayag has litigated in the state, federal, and bankruptcy courts on behalf of domestic, foreign, and international lending institutions, as well as on behalf of non-bank lenders and Fortune 500 companies. A substantial portion of her practice encompasses, on behalf of her financial institution clients, the documentation of commercial, real estate, and asset-based lending transactions. Assayag has also represented the firm's clients in the acquisition and disposition of major real estate assets, including retail centers, apartment buildings, and business parks. Assayag received her J.D. from Loyola Law School and her B.A. from University of California at Los Angeles. To learn more about Assayag's practice, visit www.swlaw.com/people/michele_assayag.
