JONESBORO, Ga. - eTradeWire -- Sisters Empowerment Network, Inc. will host its highly anticipated 14th Annual Walk A Mile in Her Shoes 5K Walk/Run Against Domestic Violence on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Clayton County International Park, located at 2300 Highway 138 SE, Jonesboro, GA.

This signature community event brings together survivors, advocates, families, and community leaders for a powerful day of education, awareness, hope, and uniting in the human spirit. With domestic violence impacting 1 in 4 women and 1 in 7 men in their lifetime, this event aims to break the stigma, raise awareness, and promote healing through community action.

The day kicks off at 8:00 a.m. with on-site registration, followed by an energetic warm-up led by Clayton County District 3 Commissioner Tashe' Allen. The 5K Walk/Run begins promptly at 9:00 a.m. Participants will compete for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophies in both run and walk categories, along with the coveted Biggest Team Challenge Winner Trophy and a $50 cash prize for the most dedicated team.
