eTradeWire News/10531853
SEM Link launches "Back to STEM" Semi-Annual Fundraising Campaign to support its programs; exposing urban youth to STEM and STEM Careers.
ATLANTA - eTradeWire -- On August 28, 2019, Science, Engineering and Mathematics Link Inc. (SEM Link, will be joining #GivingBlackDay, a national day of giving, focused specifically on supporting black-led and black-benefitting organizations. This day takes place during Black Philanthropy Month, and is uniquely dedicated to supporting organizations doing vital work to uplift black communities. "As a Black woman in philanthropy, that is a founder of a nonprofit organization, it is important for my organization to participate in this fundraising campaign and for me to personally support it. Black-led organizations don't always get a platform to raise awareness and funds for their organizations. Black Giving Day is a great platform for organizations to highlight their work and for individuals that are interested in supporting these organizations to do so" stated Ms. Tokiwa T. Smith Founder and Executive Director of SEM Link.
