Free six-week program helps small business owners modernize operations and grow smarter
SAVANNAH, Ga. - eTradeWire -- The Small Business Assistance Corporation (SBAC) will host its 2026 Service Provider Workshop Series, a free six-week educational program designed to help small business owners improve operations, leverage modern tools, and build more profitable businesses.
The series will take place every Wednesday from June 17 through July 22, 2026, from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM, at 111 E. Liberty Street, Savannah, GA 31401, in a hybrid format for both in-person and virtual participants. Attendees who participate in person will have the opportunity to win up to $1,000 in professional services with the speaker of the day.
This year's workshop series focuses on helping small business owners update their operations with practical tools, smarter systems, and actual strategies that save time, improve efficiency, and support sustainable growth. Across six sessions covering operations, leadership, hiring, finance, marketing, and everyday technology, participants will gain insights they can apply immediately in their businesses.

"Today's small business owners are expected to operate faster, smarter and more strategically than ever before, often with limited resources," said Kassidy E. Jones, SBAC Director of Loan Servicing & Technical Assistance. "This workshop series is designed to provide guidance on digital tools and strategies that entrepreneurs can immediately apply to strengthen and grow their businesses."
Building on the successful format of prior years, SBAC continues to offer the Service Provider Workshop Series as a free educational opportunity that connects entrepreneurs with experienced professionals and practical business guidance. In 2025, the six-week hybrid series drew 170 participants.
"These workshops are so incredibly important," said Megan Kranzler, owner of Olive Ridley Studios and a 2025 workshop presenter, in a testimonial video about SBAC's Service Provider Workshop Series. "Providing free resources to small business owners is such an important value to the community. There's just a lot you have to learn when you start a business, so having someone provide free resources is invaluable."
