QUEENS, N.Y. - eTradeWire -- Get ready for the most pawsome Halloween celebration in the Rockaways! The Tail Waggers Task Force, Inc. proudly presents the 2nd Annual Howl-O-Ween Costume Pawty on Sunday, October 26, 2025, from 1 PM – 4 PM at the Rockaway Freeway Dog Run (83-02 Beach Channel Dr.), the largest dog park in New York City.
Back by popular demand, this fun-filled afternoon will feature a dog costume contest, prizes in multiple categories, games and activities, music, photo booth, swag bags, and local vendors—all set against the festive backdrop of Rockaway's most beloved dog-friendly park.

Last year's Pawty drew dozens of pups in creative costumes—from spooky skeletons to adorable superheroes—and this year promises to be even bigger and better! Pet parents and community members are invited to celebrate the season and help support ongoing improvements to the Rockaway Freeway Dog Run.

"The Howl-O-Ween Costume Pawty has quickly become a signature community event," said Fred Rodriguez, President of the Tail Waggers Task Force. "It's more than just a costume contest—it's a celebration of community, creativity, and the bond between dogs and their humans."
