CAPE CORAL, Fla. - eTradeWire -- Registration is now open for Lee Health's first "Caring for the Cape" event on Thursday, Jan. 25, 2024 from 6 to 9 p.m. The tropical themed event will include island inspired cuisine, tropical specialty cocktails, music and silent and live auctions featuring dining experiences, travel, memorabilia and more.
The evening's program will give guests insight as to the future of Lee Health's services in Cape Coral, as well as how guests can get involved or learn more. Funds raised at the event will be used to help provide access to a variety of healthcare services for Cape Coral residents.
"As one of the fastest growing cities in America, the need for accessible health services in Cape Coral has increased." said Dr. Cherrie Morris, chief physician and operations executive at Cape Coral Hospital. "Creating a future of health care that can benefit everyone is the main goal at Lee Health. With support from our community, Lee Health can expand care in Cape Coral to meet the demand." Candace Smith, chief nursing and operations executive added, "Serving the Cape Community is what we are here to do and want to continue to be your number one choice for healthcare."
