Fraudulent Certifications and Lax Biosecurity

In reality, he was merely a technical advisor. Additionally, DHS employee Phil Mattson received over $262,000 from ANSI-ANAB on top of his federal salary. NIST employee Gordon Gillerman received over $120,000 from ANSI-ANAB on top of his federal salary.  Similar conflicts of interest extend to the Department of Commerce and the FBI, DOJ, DHS whose leadership, despite being refreshed, remain entangled in these corrupt arrangements, leaving them vulnerable to further cyber intrusions and data breaches.

A Call for Sweeping Reform and Accountability

Guberman's investigation sound the siren of a call to action: Our federal agencies must break free from decades-old practices that allow a foreign adversary to influence our most critical systems.
