JOHNSTOWN, Pa. - May 20, 2019 - eTradeWire -- Prolific Press Has Published Driving Around, Looking in Other People's Windows by CL Bledsoe via their wildly successful International Chapbook Series that is quickly taking the publishing world by storm! Many poets are aspiring to be published by Prolific Press because the press is quickly earning a reputation for publishing little-known writers alongside its more successful clients. According to Prolific Press, its only interest is in the quality of the work, not the pedigree of the writer. Despite the humble conventions of chapbook publishing in general, Prolific Press has stepped forward by including many of the elements found in more robust offerings, setting the bar high for competitors in a chapbook publishing market widely known for minimal investments.

Driving Around, Looking in Other People's Windows is a poetry collection about a marriage falling apart in the face of illness and debt. Two young, idealistic poets try to move past the difficulties of their childhoods to make a life together, but good intentions aren't the same as good plans.

Bledsoe's poems mix pathos and humor, joie de vivre and clinical depression. His language is spare but warm. He is struggling, not only with living, but with figuring out how to live, how to move through this world in a meaningful way, how to be a person. Ultimately, though the poems might deal with dark subject matter, there is hope. There has to be.

About the poet: CL Bledsoe grew up on a rice and catfish farm in eastern Arkansas. He taught high school and college for a decade and now works as a technical writer in northern Virginia, where he lives with his daughter.
