COLUMBUS, Ohio - eTradeWire -- PRIVATE SCHOOL PUPS HOSTS ITS INAUGURAL 5K RUN (1-MILE WALK)

(Columbus, OH – January 20, 2023) Start the year's running reason off by running for a good cause! Private School Pups will host their inaugural 5K Run (1-Mile Walk) presented by Endeavor Brewing and Spirits in partnership with Columbus Running Company on May 21, 2023, at Westerville Sports Complex at 325 N Cleveland Ave, Westerville, OH 43082.

Private School Pups is a charity that provides grants and funding for professional dog training for dogs that would otherwise be euthanized or surrendered.

"As an active volunteer within the rescue community for years, I often found myself wondering why dogs are euthanized or returned to shelters. From my experience, I believe a lack of education and training for both the adopter and dog can lead to so many missed opportunities for permanent adoption. Private School Pups is providing the funding assistance for education and training necessary for dogs and handlers to help our community save all rescue dogs." - Monica Mosure, Founder.

Participants can save time and money by taking advantage of our race's early registration and race packet pickup hours. Early registration will be held at Endeavor Brewing and Spirits located at 909 W 5^th Ave, Columbus, OH 43212, on Saturday, May 20 from 12-3 pm. Participants can also register online at https://runsignup.com/privateschoolpups. Pets will not be allowed to participate in the race but are welcome at the Endeavor Brewing post-run event from 3:30-6:30 pm. The post-run event is open to all, including those who did not race. A drink coupon is available for all race participants. The after-race event features adoptable pups, as well as helps continue to support raising funds for rescue dogs.

The fee for early registration for the race and the walk is $35. Price increases after April 30, 2023, at 11:59 pm EDT. Awards will be presented to the top three overall finishers in each of the following gender categories: female, male, and non-binary. Proceeds from the event will be used to provide grants for training and educating fosters.
