Premier Mobile Health Services rolls into Collier County
eTradeWire News/10792802
FORT MYERS, Fla. - eTradeWire -- Premier Mobile Health Services, a nonprofit health clinic that brings essential medical care to those in need across Lee County, is growing its footprint with a new location in Immokalee.
The Collier County expansion comes thanks to a $30,000 grant from the Moorings Park Foundation, the charitable arm of the Naples-based retirement community.
That support will enable Premier Mobile Health Services to provide free health screenings and education on disease prevention in the rural agricultural community east of Naples, with an emphasis on those who are 60 and older.
This month, the mobile clinic will visit Immokalee on Saturday, Jan. 25, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at 201 S. 3rd St. Walk-ins are welcome.
"From diabetes prevention to cardiac health, there's a critical need for accessible, preventive medical care in Immokalee," said Dr. Nadine "Deanie" Singh, CEO of Premier Mobile Health Services. "We're deeply appreciative for the Moorings Park Foundation's support, enabling us to further assist the medically vulnerable across Southwest Florida."

Founded by Singh in 2018, Premier Mobile Health Services offers an array of services to low-income children, families, individuals and the uninsured, including preventive screenings, vaccinations, nutrition counseling, school physicals and more.
Patients without insurance and those who provide proof of income below 200 percent of the federal poverty guidelines account for two-thirds of its population and are provided care at no cost; others in need pay on a sliding scale based on income.
The mobile clinic regularly visits several Lee County communities to provide care directly where its patients live, work and congregate.
Locations include the Café of Life in Bonita Springs and the Gladiolus Food Pantry, Pine Manor Community Center and Florida SouthWestern State College campus in Fort Myers, as well as a brick-and-mortar walk-in clinic on Colonial Boulevard.
Its multilingual staff is well-equipped to serve patients in Immokalee, where 36% of children live in poverty, fewer than 8% of residents have a bachelor's degree and nearly 80% of students come from homes where English isn't spoken.
To learn more or schedule an appointment, call 239-288-7949. Additional information and the monthly mobile clinic schedule can be found online at www.premiermobilehealth.org.
