Later, Vedvyas completed his medical degree from Harvard Medical School, where he was also awarded a PASTEUR clinical research fellowship for his research in serum markers that predict patient outcomes in critical illness. After completing his medical internship at Harvard Cambridge Hospital, he proceeded to the No. 1-ranked dermatology residency at New York University. Following his residency, he completed the nation's leading fellowship program in Mohs micrographic surgery at Houston Methodist Hospital.
