PODS® Tucson Partners with the Hermitage No-Kill Cat Shelter and 94.9 MIXfm for Annual Kitten Shower

eTradeWire News/10803025
TUCSON, Ariz. - eTradeWire -- Spring is in the air, and so are tiny paws and playful meows! PODS® Tucson is proud to partner with the Hermitage No-Kill Cat Shelter and 94.9 MIXfm for the annual Kitten Shower – a heartwarming community event supporting the shelter's influx of new kittens during the spring season.

PODS® Tucson is providing a secure PODS® container to collect donations of much-needed items from the Kitten Wish List. Community members are invited to participate by donating supplies such as kitten formula, food, toys, blankets, and other essentials to help care for these young felines. Donations can be dropped off at the PODS® container, located at the Hermitage No-Kill Cat Shelter, 5278 E 21st Street, Tucson, AZ 85711, from April 28 to May 9.

The Hermitage No-Kill Cat Shelter & Sanctuary, Arizona's first no-kill animal shelter, has provided a safe haven for at-risk cats since 1965. The facility houses over 200 cats at a time, with more than 700 rescued annually. Every cat receives individualized medical care, affection, and the freedom to roam in safe, enclosed outdoor spaces.

"We're excited to be working with 94.9 MIXfm, PODS®, and Petco to host a kitten shower at the Hermitage. Last year, we took in 651 kittens! And just like small children, kittens can devour more food than one would believe," said Diane Siefkes, Development & Communications Coordinator of the Hermitage Shelter. "This kitten shower is a great opportunity for us to prepare for all the expected kittens and their moms. We are so thankful to our entire community who comes together to help these kittens get a good start in life!"

"Our goal is to make it easier for the Tucson community to give back," said Steven Figueroa, Territory Manager of PODS® Tucson. "We always look forward to supporting incredible organizations like the Hermitage to help these kittens get the care and supplies they need before they're adopted."
