Parkview Church Group Donates $2,252 to Provision Packs to Help Feed Kids

eTradeWire News/10625615
FLAGLER BEACH, Fla. - eTradeWire -- Provision Packs founder and CEO Carrie Torres is pleased to announce that the 501(c)3 organization received a $2,252 donation from a Parkview Church group this past Thursday night as part of a self defense seminar fundraiser.

The Thursday night self-defense demonstration, held at the Palm Coast Community Center, was designed to teach attendees how to protect lives, starting with their own. Rick Meyer, a Provision Packs board member and self-defense instructor, showed the class of approximately 60 attendees, with the help of two self-defense students – Mary Freeman and Cindy Dalecki - how to get out of a variety of chokeholds, a 'bad guy' attempting to snatch you, and more. Mary and Cindy have only attended Rick's self defense class for one month. Mary also demonstrated how, and where, the best places to strike a person are to be able to injury them enough to get away.
