P3Mobility Awarded Network V2X Contract for Maricopa County Connected Vehicle Acceleration Zone
eTradeWire News/10829482
P3Mobility's V2Xpress and P3M Safety App selected to support secure, scalable connected vehicle services across the region
PHOENIX - eTradeWire -- P3Mobility has been awarded the CONNECTED VEHICLE ACCELERATION ZONE (CVAZ) MESSAGE EXCHANGE PLATFORM & MOBILE DEVICE APPLICATION 260052-RFP contract by the Maricopa County Department of Transportation (MCDOT). The award authorizes P3Mobility to deploy its V2Xpress platform and P3M Safety App to deliver secure Network V2X services across the County's CVAZ initiative. The project supports real-time connected vehicle applications including Transit Signal Priority, Freight Signal Priority, and Vulnerable Road User alerts. The contract advances MCDOT's efforts to implement a standards-aligned, scalable connected vehicle ecosystem.
Under the contract, P3Mobility will provide a cloud-based Message Exchange Platform (MEP) and a mobile device application designed to deliver low-latency, secure V2X communications over cellular networks. The V2Xpress platform supports IEEE 1609.2–compliant message signing and verification and is designed to scale from pilot deployments to regionwide operations. The P3M Safety App provides authorized users with a dynamic user interface to receive connected vehicle information and submit signal priority requests where permitted.

"We are proud to support Maricopa County's vision for a scalable, secure and economically sustainable Network V2X deployment," said Erin Milligan, CEO of P3Mobility. "This award reflects the County's commitment to implementing standards-based connected vehicle services that can expand over time while maintaining strong security and interoperability."
"ISS's TrafficAuth division is pleased and excited to license P3Mobility with our interoperable, secure, and standard V2N2X technology for this Maricopa County project" said Murray Egan, ISS Director of Sales.
The project builds on P3Mobility's experience delivering USDOT-funded connected vehicle initiatives and demonstrates the continued expansion of Network V2X deployments across the United States.
