OsteoOctober 2025 Empowers Women 50+ to Take Control of Their Bone Health
eTradeWire News/10819544
OsteoStrong Oakville and Toronto join nationwide effort to raise awareness during OsteoOctober and World Osteoporosis Day
TORONTO - eTradeWire -- Every day, thousands of Canadians experience fractures caused by osteoporosis, a disease that often remains undetected until a break occurs. This October, OsteoOctober invites Canadians to take action and reclaim their bone health.
Powered by OsteoStrong® Canada, OsteoOctober is a nationwide awareness and action campaign designed to prevent bone loss and empower individuals with practical, science-backed strategies for lifelong skeletal strength.
Osteoporosis affects more than 2.3 million Canadians, most of whom are women over 50. The disease can lead to decreased mobility, chronic pain, and loss of independence, yet it is both preventable and treatable.
"Osteoporosis isn't inevitable," says Harleen Laroia, Owner of OsteoStrong Oakville and Toronto. "With consistent lifestyle interventions, like resistance training, osteogenic loading, and balanced nutrition, people can improve bone density at any age."
Throughout October, OsteoStrong Oakville and Toronto will offer complimentary bone health consultations, educational newsletters, and community engagement opportunities encouraging people to learn more about bone health and prevention. Visit https://www.osteostrong.ca/osteooctober to participate or learn more.
